NIGERIAN POLITICIANS AND THEIR DECEIT

The other day it was former Vice President Atiku Abubakar that first pulled this same 'stunt' and now it's the turn of this 'guile' from Osun state.

This is my take: Real leaders don't do this once in every four years if he have to, but instead he does it everyday.
Eating with the less privileged when elections are around the corner has become the habitual character of every politician in Nigeria and its because we don't have # History as part of our school curriculum anymore.

Looking at the picture, everyone can clearly see the clear disconnection between the schemer and the scheme. It even shows how dubious and inhumane our politicians can be because, this is absurd, insulting and demeaning. But like I said earlier, when people have become 'jẹun ko kú' (eat and die) this is what will be happening. I know a lot of people will fall for this because "Poverty have been institutionalized in Nigeria" and until we realize that we, the people have the real power, it is then that we will put these useless politicians into their place.

It is time to let the this pranksters know that governance is not about eating with the people, it is not about sharing rice to the people, it is not not about lying to the people BUT governance is about making people to realize their potential economically, governance is about creating wealth for the people through policies and legislation, governance is about creating an enabling environment for the people to thrive, governance is about building the right infrastructure that the people needs, governance is about showing people that you cares by associating with them every time they need you.

All these photos ops is demeaning and very very insulting and it is time to shame these fellows to stop using us pawn.

Hope Osun will not become another # Ekiti where people prefer rice to economic emancipation & social infrastructure.

Will People Stay At Home to avoid Covid19?

Late last week, President Muhammadu Buhari announced the easing of the lockdown which was put in place majorly in Lagos State, Ogun State and Federal Capital Territory, Abuja  This was done to curtail and bring to a halt the spreading of corona virus popularly called COVID-19. This lockdown were also in place in almost every state of the country except few. This lockdown is to ensure the flatten of the curve of the virus . In the run up to the easing of the lockdown, there were hues and cries from the citizens, most especially the vulnerable ones who makes their living on daily basis, that the longer the lockdown, the longer they face with economic crisis as many are now begging for help to eat in a day.  In the same vein, the Federal government also put in place some sort of palliatives to ease the lockdown in which money, foods and other items were distributed to the people. ‘Who presidential documentary epp?’

On Christmas Day, I stumbled on an interview given by the Special Adviser to President Muhammadu Buhari on Media and Publicity, Mr Femi Adesina. Although it was a fairly lengthy interaction with the presenters of Sunrise Daily on Channels Television that morning, two things that the presidential spokesperson said amplify the fault with the President’s communication. Confronted with a front page report quoting the National Bureau of Statistics as estimating that eight million Nigerians had become unemployed between January 2016 and September 30, 2017, Adesina suggested that Nigerians should be grateful that the administration allowed the NBS do its job.
