The 19-point Communique issues at "a day with the LAWNA Territorial Chairman" held at Olorunda Ketu on 2nd October, 2017

1. The Drama ministry is reinstated in the Church. However, members of the Team must be spiritually sound to cope with the challenges of the Ministry.

2. The Youth Church or Directorate shall be encouraged & supported at various levels of the Church organization as long as there is numerical strength to support it & Ministers
who can speak the language of the Youth shall be allocated to such assemblies of Youth.

3. The Council of the Church approves Marriage Counselling. However, there is need for specific skills for this purpose. The Council shall set up Committees to appoint Marriage Counsellors at the District and Area levels.

4. There shall be a National Youth Convention very soon.

5. The Council shall consider the setting up of the House Fellowships to residential proximities.

6. The Council shall consider avenues for illogically sending messages to the Leaders of the Church via dedicated e-mail accounts, telephone lines, drop boxes or any other
appropriate IT platform.

7. There must be proper allocation of time for every activity during the Sunday Services. Priorities must be given to the preaching of the Word of God, Worship and Prayers. In any case, Sunday Service must end by 12noon at the latest in all assemblies in the LAWNA Territory.

8. Witnesses Movement & Evangelical parties are saddled with the responsibility of evangelism. Their activities must be revived at all level of the Church.

9. Caring for the Youths and Widows is the responsibility of the Church and the authorities shall be alive to this responsibility within its limit.

10. More of this interactive meeting will be held at the Central Level with a defined and established Modus Operandi before delegating devolving same to Areas, Districts and Assemblies.

11. Job performance evaluation for Pastors shall be top priority as a basis for Career Progression.

12. Individuals are left to their conscience with respect to participation in politics.

13. Supports; financial and otherwise for TACSFONITES to be actioned i.e. the Church will give support to TACSFON in ALL
Chapters.

14. The Apostolic Church provisional forum shall be restored again into the Church.

15. The Church Constitution I'm currently undergoing review and pending ratification by the Council.

16. The materials and food required during Conventions are only attachments to the programmes. The Church will look into reducing financial burdens it poses and such encourage Spiritual Deepening in our various Conventions; be it Area or Movement Conventions. 

17. Elders are Part-time Pastors in the Apostolic Church and so they should be alive to their responsibilities.

18. SAU Management should amplify the existence of the university through proper public relations.

19. The Church will look into cases of Ministers who have long stayed in the stations. Notwithstanding, the attendant financial responsibilities are constraints.

Will People Stay At Home to avoid Covid19?

Late last week, President Muhammadu Buhari announced the easing of the lockdown which was put in place majorly in Lagos State, Ogun State and Federal Capital Territory, Abuja  This was done to curtail and bring to a halt the spreading of corona virus popularly called COVID-19. This lockdown were also in place in almost every state of the country except few. This lockdown is to ensure the flatten of the curve of the virus . In the run up to the easing of the lockdown, there were hues and cries from the citizens, most especially the vulnerable ones who makes their living on daily basis, that the longer the lockdown, the longer they face with economic crisis as many are now begging for help to eat in a day.  In the same vein, the Federal government also put in place some sort of palliatives to ease the lockdown in which money, foods and other items were distributed to the people. ‘Who presidential documentary epp?’

On Christmas Day, I stumbled on an interview given by the Special Adviser to President Muhammadu Buhari on Media and Publicity, Mr Femi Adesina. Although it was a fairly lengthy interaction with the presenters of Sunrise Daily on Channels Television that morning, two things that the presidential spokesperson said amplify the fault with the President’s communication. Confronted with a front page report quoting the National Bureau of Statistics as estimating that eight million Nigerians had become unemployed between January 2016 and September 30, 2017, Adesina suggested that Nigerians should be grateful that the administration allowed the NBS do its job. He indicated that being an agency of government, it was possible for the President to have breathed down on the NBS and stopped it from presenting those damning statistics.
